| Comments | Width of initial growth rate distribution. Initial growth must be within 20% of the mean initial growth rate. If the initial growth rate is not within this range the initializeState method will recursively re-run itself using a different random seed until a state with a valid initial growth rate is found. The width of the initial growth distribution is set to ± standard deviation of the unfiltered initial growth distribution.
