Regulation: Glucose-6-phosphate regulates catabolite repression through the pathway: glycolytic intermediates → HprK → Hpr/PtsH ⊣ sugar-specific PTS enzymes [PUB_0454]. That is under high levels of glycolytic intermediates (eg. glucose 6-phosphate, fructose 1,6-diphosphate, and 2-phosphoglycerate) HprK phosphorylates Hpr [PUB_0454, PUB_0458].
