Comments
Comments Inactive form bound by two divalent cations (FE2, MN, MG) at Y126 residue per NrdEF β-subunit [PUB_0160]. Activated by addition of oxygen and electrons forming radical tyrosines which donate the radical electron to the NrdEF substrate [PUB_0160]. Recycled by NrdI which transfers electrons to NrdF from FMNH- and pulls off oxygen [PUB_0160]. Functional Macromolecule Functional as hetercomplex (see MG_229_231_TETRAMER). Coenzymes Interacts with 2 FE3 per monomer as prosthetic group [96,385].
